Your design is applied to a premium leatherette patch on the front panel of the hat. The leatherette material gives the patch a clean, professional look with a slight texture that stands out from standard printed hats. It's durable, holds detail well, and looks sharp in person.
The patch is permanently attached to the hat — not removable or interchangeable.
Full Color — Your design is printed directly onto the leatherette patch in full color. Best for logos, badges, or designs that rely on color to read correctly. Colors are vibrant and detailed. Recommended for most designs.
Laser Engraved — Your design is burned into the leatherette surface, creating a debossed look with no color. The engraved areas are darker than the surrounding material. Best for simple, bold designs — text, logos, or designs that look great in a single tone. Gives the hat a more premium, understated feel.
Not sure which to choose? Think about your design — if color is essential, go Full Color. If it's a clean logo or text that works in one tone, Laser Engraved is a sharp choice.
File types: PNG with transparent background is preferred → SVG → AI or EPS → PDF. Avoid JPG, screenshots, or photos of existing patches or designs.
Resolution: 300 DPI or higher. If you can zoom in and it gets blurry, it's too low.
White backgrounds & unwanted elements: Don't submit artwork on a white background unless white is intentionally part of your design. If your file has a white background or unwanted elements you'd like removed, describe exactly what you want removed in the order notes and we'll do our best to clean it up. Background removal is not guaranteed — results depend on file quality and complexity. By submitting artwork with a white background, you accept responsibility for the final result. For a guaranteed clean result, we offer full artwork redesign at an additional cost — contact us before ordering.
Text: Make sure text is legible at patch size. Go bolder and simpler when in doubt — fine details can get lost at small sizes.
AI-generated art: Most AI artwork needs to be redrawn before production. Fine details and gradients don't always translate. We'll let you know if that's the case — there may be a small redraw fee.
Laser engraved designs: If choosing laser engraved, your design should work well in a single tone. High-contrast, bold designs with clean lines engrave the best. Avoid fine gradients or very thin lines.

Shipping: Separate from production time — account for both when planning for a deadline or event.
Custom hats are made specifically for you and cannot be restocked or resold.
Non-refundable once production begins. If the error is on our end — wrong color, wrong printing method, production defect — we remake or refund at no cost. If the error is customer-submitted artwork or incorrect order details, we are not responsible.
Cancellations must be requested before production begins.
